We’ve had quite a few conversations about the shirt numbering at the current European Championship but i think nothing comes near these ones. Tape gallery is a teamwork of Christoph Priglinger, Oliver Laric and Georg Schnitzer in collaboration with Circle Culture and Umbro

M/M Paris is having 2 exhibitions running now in Paris. One at the Centre Pompidou and one at Galerie Air de Paris. Went to the one at the Pompidou and it was nothing fresh as it was only a retrospective of their work. The other one is probably more interesting.

Just got this book from my friend Heidi Vogels a couple of days ago. It contains series of photographs that she made back in 2003 while living in Spain.

Quoting from her site: “Borrowed View is a series of projects and publications that question the constantly shifting relation between the mental space of images and their aesthetic surface. A personal archive set within a structure of relations, current events and life spend in Barcelona.” From my point of view, this project is also about how things you see in daily life shifts continually between narratives and forms.

Props to Heidi for tying the project up and making a beautiful book as an end result. Also, compliments to Bart de Baets for the image editing and Like for the graphic design.

The book is due to be released at the beginning of 2008, so what you see up there is just a sneak preview.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Lego, Wonderland magazine asked Peter Saville–amongst others–to make something out of lego for their Aug/Sept issue. These are his works. Mouthwatering.

According to David Carson, this is the end of print. Let’s hope not.

Some images from El Lissitzky’s children’s book “About 2 Squares”. It’s about 2 squares, one red and one black and how they transform the world. I wish two squares can still do just that.
