To continue with the yawn mood. A heartfelt tune for those hopefully warm summer nights. by Señor Jarra
It’s been raining, after a good sunny week in Amsterdam (one half of this blog is still in Amsterdam), that ended with this last Sunday at the Melkweg. With this guy and some other guys on the decks. Amazing set. It lasted until probably 7-8 in the morning. Rainy days are perfect to listen to these guys. Check their debut video for the song ‘White Winter Hymnal’.
I was chatting to Jonas today and he sent me this Bruce Haack song, it made my day. Thanks Jonas!
There hasn’t been so much update here but probably it’s because it’s crunch time, so it’s time to spend Saturday nights working in front of the computer, while maybe listening to some Italian crooner like this guy. I like that he is singing so nonchalantly, with his arms crossed.

OK this is not party music, but it’s pretty good for the morning after. Especially if after the party, you fell off a bike and then woke up realizing that you might have busted one of your knees. Facing the possibility that you might end up sitting on your couch and ordering food from Spare Rib Express for the next few days.
To quote wikipedia: “Obscure psychedelic folk singer Linda Perhacs released her only album Parallelograms in 1970 to scant notice or sales.”
A few days ago, Mrs. Lisa posted the top one on her blog. It’s Oskar Fischinger circa 1935. The bottom one is Robyn, circa 2007. So.. yeah.
Thanks Mr. SvenBit for introducing me to Clara Rockmore. That lady could sure play the theremin.

Thieves like us are playing at Paradiso tomorrow. You know that song Drugs In My Body? That’s them. I actually don’t know any other song by them. But that makes it just more interesting to check out. At 22:00 tomorrow.

So, it’s saturday night. I just opened beer number 3. On the plan(the only plan) for tonight is Fightclub night at the Flexbar. Data is going to play amongst some other dudes. If you are reading this tonight, I highly recommend that you join the party. If not, pity, it was fun. You missed out on a lot. But don’t worry, just listen to these tracks and tell yourself you were there. You’ll get there, you just have to imagine it hard enough. Ok this is enough bulls*it. Here are the tracks to stimulate you’re imagination. But don’t think about missing the GRA party next weekend.

I hope you’re ready to dance. Because we are.
Yuksek never seems to fail. Last years he totally blow my mind in Club 11. The crowd was bad.. but he was just to good to disappoint
